We try to figure God out. The problem is that we want God to fit into our theology and cosmology
We can rely on the GPS so much that we forget where we're going
When we say thanks God for raising me up, I am in control now, God says "No child. You are not. I am in control."

Jesus knew that the possessions had him and not God
Jesus smashed his theology about being a good man to be saved
Pre-set perspective about God; we should not have it
Christianity is never a comfortable religion
Character > comfort
It is not something you do, it is something u receive by grace through faith
Anything that drives you to have power and success without God will eventually destroy you one day
