This is an invitation to a relationship
This acknowledgment from God gives rise to our relationship with Him, which subsequently gives us our identity.
God invited us into an eternal Father-and-child relationship.
Titles dont matter
His love for us is eternal and will never change
1 Corinthians 1:9
Fellowship is the condition of sharing a common interest. And as believers our common interest is Jesus.
The fellowship may be broken but the relationship hasn’t. God is still very much our Father.
Hebrews 10:23-25
Do not forsake the habit of fellowshipping
To stay in fellowship requires action on our part. Without which, we may drift away.
Luke 15:11-32 parable of the lost son
We do not serve God or obey God to gain love. We serve and obey out of love.
We do not give to gain love. We give out of love.
We do not give to gain. We give because we have already gained.
The Christian life is not the call to do, it is the call to be
