Process of spiritual maturity
Hebrews 5:13-14
We should not just go farther but deeper in our understanding of Him
To grow deeper is to grow in maturity in Christ. It takes time, years. It is a lengthy process
Unskilled in the world of righteousness may mean two things:
1) not knowing the Word of God
2) not living out the Word of God
1) not knowing the Word of God
2) not living out the Word of God
The goal of spiritual maturity is the result of the fruit of the Spirit in our lives
Our gifts and talents ought to lead is to produce fruits
That is the purpose of gifts
Eph 4:4-5
Gal 5:22
John 3:16
Love is not live unless it is given away
Love is a way of life
Romans 13:10
Romans 12:9-10
Agape love is so divine that it isn't looking for what it can get, but what it can give
Nehemiah 8:12
Joy comes when we understand the word of God. Permanent joy comes from the knowledge of God. Happiness is temporary
