I cannot think of a single major psychological problem from fear of intimacy or of success, to under-achievement at school and work, to anxiety or depression to alcohol abuse, to drug addiction, to child molestation or spouse battering, to suicide or crimes of violence that is not traceable to a poor self-concept. Of all the judgments that we pass in life, none is as important as the one we pass on to ourselves. Our self-concept tends to be our destiny. – Dr. Nathaniel Branden

“It is easier to cry against a thousand sins in others than to mortify one sin in ourselves." – John Flavil
Very often it is us who makes the nightmares we are living in
Four simple points we can learn from Joseph’s life:
1) We must learn to look at life in the long term.
For children, if they are able to see it, they are able to live it
2) We must be faithful regardless of our family situation.
3) God cares and wants us to rise above our dysfunctionality
Consider ur Christian life, the circumstances, challenges and the people that come your way. Its either God-sent or God-given
He in control over the whole situation.
God understands our particular circumstances and He wants to help us rise above the negative influences in our lives.
4) God specializes in changing us and conforming us into His image, no matter what our family background.
Genesis 50:15-21
